How to Get an AWESOME start to 2016
If I give you six-weeks, can you lose two pounds?
Of course you can! Will you commit? Yes? Good for you!
Now here is the catch… The six-weeks start Sunday, November 22, 2015 and go all the way through Monday, January 4, 2016.
Why commit to such a thing? Well, if you focus on losing the two pounds, then its unlikely you’ll add the 2-5 pounds that the average American adds each Holiday Season.
According to Nielsen, the top two New Years Resolutions that follow the holidays are: 1) Stay healthy and fit, 2) Lose weight.
In the past, I allowed myself to get soft through inactivity and allowed myself to gain weight through overeating. This ‘Holiday Tradition’ of mine only created extra work for myself in the New Year.
The vision I have for this year is to wake-up on Monday, January 4, 2016 already healthy and fit. More energy and strength to enjoy family time. More energy and strength for my clients.
My PRE-New Years Resolution is to use the Holiday Season to get into great shape. I’ll still enjoy myself during the holidays, but I will be more thoughtful. Instead of trying to eat THE ENTIRE BUFFETT at each party, I will make better food choices on quantity and content.
In addition to making better eating choices, I will be at the gym every day. Every day. If I happen to miss a day because something came up, I’ll make up for it the following day with a longer workout. Every day I arrive at the gym, I’ll celebrate the progress and know I’m one step closer to my goal of being at least two-pounds lighter on January 4, 2016.
CALL TO ACTION:
Join me by taking the next six-weeks to lose two pounds! Just a mere 42 days to focus on good health habits throughout the holidays. 42 trips to the gym and employing restraint at the holiday table will result in YOU being in great shape and enjoying good energy on Monday, January 4th, 2016.
Today I weighed in at 186 lbs. On January 4th I will weigh in at 184 lbs or lower.
